WE MAKE DENTAL VISITS FUN FOR KIDS AND EASY FOR PARENTS

Sometimes the hardest part of finding the right paediatric dentist is finding someone with whom your children feel safe and comfortable. You want to know that your children are being well cared for and that they are receiving the best, gentlest, and most compassionate care available. At Example Dental Clinic, our goal is to provide superior dental care in a child-friendly environment.

Children are not always able to be patient and cooperative during a dental examination. At Example Dental Clinic, we understand this and know how to examine and treat children in ways that help them feel comfortable and at ease.

Each member of our team is excited to be here, and it shows. We take the time to greet your child and introduce ourselves. We understand that new experiences can be scary and that children may have seen inaccurate portrayals of dentists on television or in films. Getting to know us and seeing that we are gentle and kind professionals is an important first step toward changing that perception.

During the check-up our dentist will assess the following:

  • Which teeth have erupted (come through the gums).
  • The development of the jaw
  • The soft tissues (tongue, cheeks, lips, and throat)
  • The presence of cavities in the teeth
  • As your child gets older, how the teeth bite together, to determine whether orthodontic treatment may be required in the future

We also offer specialist dental treatment for children who have:

  • Suffered injuries to a tooth or teeth
  • Complex medical histories or conditions
  • Developmental issues such as missing teeth, enamel problems, or underdevelopment
  • Special or surgical needs, such as impacted teeth, tissue removal, extra teeth, or teeth that fail to erupt properly

Orthodontic Treatment:

Many children end up needing orthodontic attention at some point during their development. Because we want our dental practice to be able to address the majority of your child’s pediatric dental needs, we offer orthodontics treatment.
